Equity Release Calculator
Use this calculator to explore an illustrative level of borrowing based on your property value and a loan-to-value (LTV) percentage you select.
Age is an important factor in determining how much you may actually be able to release. It does not change the illustrative LTV you select below.
The percentage is the illustrative Loan-to-Value (LTV). LTV is the amount borrowed as a percentage of your property's value.
For example, 25% LTV on a £400,000 property represents £100,000 of borrowing. If you have an existing £50,000 mortgage, this would normally need to be repaid first, leaving an illustrative £50,000 available to you.
The LTV actually available will depend on factors including your age, property and the criteria of the equity release provider. Selecting a percentage here does not mean you will qualify for that amount.
Select a percentage of your property's value to explore what the figures could look like.
