With a career in financial services spanning back to the early 1990s, I began my professional journey as an Executive Financial Planning Manager at HSBC. After taking time out to raise my family, I chose to specialise in mortgage and protection advice—moving away from broader financial planning, including pensions and investments, to focus on helping people secure their homes and protect what matters most.My passion for advising clients was sparked early on. Even in my banking days before becoming an adviser, I was known for spending "too long" chatting with customers—something that ultimately led to me being offered the chance to train as a financial adviser. I leapt at the opportunity, and I’ve never looked back.I work on a wide range of residential and buy-to-let mortgage cases, with particular expertise in supporting portfolio landlords with multiple properties. I enjoy the technical challenges of these complex cases and take pride in guiding clients through them with clarity and confidence.What I love most about my work is seeing the happiness on a client’s face when their mortgage offer comes through—especially first-time buyers reaching that huge milestone of homeownership.Outside of work, I’m a lifelong rugby fan (Harlequins and England in particular) and enjoy spending quality time with my family. A fun fact about me: I was a competitive swimmer in my youth and even had trials for the England national squad.
